RVs are a depreciating "asset" that loses value from the second you sign your name to the title until it is torn into scrap.
You obviously got it "cheap" or some cut rate cost deal..
There is very little to NO "value" in "rebuilt" RVs from an insurance company perspective..
So, the burning question is WHY do you "need" insurance on YOUR "rebuilt" RV?
You personally tool a gamble at a rebuilt RV, Insurance Co's are not interested in gambling with rebuilds. YES, they will insure NEW and USED, but you are going to pay an arm, leg and your first born to get one willing to insure a rebuilt RV AND you might not get much insurance for the money you will dump into the insurance cost.
You might be able to get insurance to cover your personal items inside for a decent deal but the 5vr may be an issue.
Did you check with your auto insurance (assuming you are towing).
If you are not towing and insurance is required by the campground you might be pushing boulders up hill with your nose..
