We have the same, we are keeping the Rig and Jeep in the LLC. We checked into SD licence requirements. Registration then cost per year for tags. It was less expensive to maintain the LLC. Since SD is only our domicile, and we do not stay in the state for more then a few days a year. We are keeping the LLC. You really need to read the requirements per state on LLC. Example Arizona (live for 33 years), you must shown your vehicle was not in the state for 6 months out of a calendar year or if commercial vehicle, you do not have a office in the state.
