DH and I will likely start full timing in early 2021. We love to travel by RV but also plan to do some travel without the RV. At times we may be gone for 2-4 weeks. My question is where would we park ...

You will be extremely lucky if you find a place at an acceptable cost AND also close to the airport......or any other specific location for that matter.
But then.....if that will be your "residence" most of the time, you might have to "eat" the cost of lot rent for those weeks that you will be gone, by air OR by RV.
Trying to save a few bucks for short periods like that can turn out to be a big hassle and maybe even more expensive in total.
