It can be cheaper if you are smart about it but really hard to say based on the limited info you provided.
Go with a used truck & RV, do the maintenance yourself and stay in inexpensive areas and getting by on $1000-1500/month is doable.
Go with new high end MH, pay someone to do all the maintenance and stay in popular areas at the best parks and you can easily push into the $5-10k/month range.
