Thank you all for the kind words. The last lesson learned is always the hardest. I always knew it would happen this way, he would just drive off into the sunset never to be heard from again. He was a full timer in every sense of the word, when he got ready to roll out he did. He always said the best part of full timing was the fact that if you woke up one morning and didn't like your front yard, you go find a new front yard.
I assume he will be buried in Texas, his parents are buried there. It seems surreal that he is really gone.
Do full timers have an exit plan for these types of things? I guess your next of kin know where you are at all times? What about your friends? How do they find out when this kind of thing happens? I was lucky I guess because I was also good friends with his son, and when I couldn't get Lin I had someone else to call.
I still have questions that may never be answered, but maybe some of you could shed some light.
