cemmett, which state to choose is a personal choice based on matching your individual needs/wants/priorites etc to the potential states. We all have slightly different needs, wants & priorities. Each of the 3 most popular fulltimer states, SD, Fl, Tx have slightly different laws, taxes, requirements.
I chose SD as my domicile for a variety of reasons, but many others have selected Tx or Fla for their reasons. We can't say which is the best for you.
