Still relatively new to full timing and believed that you had to have a "residence" address in the state for Ca... so that is great news then.. The bottom line is that although I am traveling, Ca is my home and I'd like to keep the plates.. Also, while I have never actually had this experience, I have heard that tags will not reach you if Ca DMV detect what they deem to be any sort of PMB... thanks for the response...
Just to be sure my car is in California and insured in California by California licensed insurance folks and garaged in California with California personalized Dog Lover plates I am a SD resident and the mailing address is the PMB I have had no problems. All that said you may want to call DMV and ask them in case something has changed. When you call and get an answer you do not like call back and the next person will give you a different answer :B
