Depends, Opposing slides tend to be narrow. Our single slide is 42" Add in 8.5' main box and that's pretty much 12'. Agreed, it's a lot of room but then we are happy with a lot less length.
To the OP's question: My guess is if 35' isn't enough 37' is unlikely to make a huge difference. An RV will never compare to a house. Doesn't even compare to a 1 bedroom apartment.
