Rving is a dream of yours, I understand that, but not very practical. RVing is not for the weak of wallet. Are your parents going to continue supporting you and the boy while you RV?
On another subject you didn't ask about. Put that 16 year old in a real school. Home schooling is fine but young people need social interaction with others of their own age and maturity. Keeping him home with grandparents and a depressed mother isn't doing him any favors.
Please get quality counseling before making any more mistakes.
