To-day is my fifty first wedding anniversary.
I am sorry that you are receiving so many negative replies.
You sound to me that you have experience going with the flow.
My advice is to give it a shot.
What is the worse that can happen, you will end up again with your parents?
As to your son, I can see your feelings about him being without
companions of his own age, however Skype is a wonderful
invention, he may not be as lonely as you think. Do remember that in four years or less, your son will either be working
or in school.
At that time, do you want to be seeing the country at your
own pace, or still at home listening to your parents talk about the old days.
So, in summation give it a shot.
