OK AS I SAID THAT I HAVE BEEN FULLTIME FOR A FEW NOW . THE SMELL WAS REAL BAD, FLUSHED TANK (FILLED WITH WATER AND DUMPED) SMELL GONE AFTER THAT, CAN'T GET IT, OUT OF THINGS TO DO!(1)Toilet seal new(2)Checked vent pipe (3)No smell basement(4)Having to dump evey 3 day to keep smell down Fill to dump(5)Spray wand to flush tank

Posting in all caps probably won't get you any more/better responses than your posting this every couple of hours.YOu haven't said, but I would guess you are keeping some of your drains open all the time?

The waste tank plumbing is sealed except for the roof vents so unless odor is pulled into the RV in some fashion you should not have any odor. It is possible that the air admittance valves under the sink or lavatory could be defective and are letting odor in from the gray tank. They are on a stub coming off the outflow side of the"J" trap under the sinks. They unscrew and are usually pretty easy to remove. You can get replacements at hardware stores.

If you're dumping every three days it's highly likely you're leaving a LOT of solids around since in three days you wouldn't be building up enough liquids to flush solids from the tank. That is assuming that the smell is from the black tank but often gray tank odors are almost as bad a black tank, esecially if your gray tank contains cooking waste. With a separate galley tank the gray stays fresher. It's ALSO possible that the odor is from your battery bank. Sulfuric acid smells a lot like the black tank. Check to be sure you don't have a battery that's getting hot or bulging.Good luck / Skip
