This is not a new policy, just an updated law. VA has been following this for quite a while, and just updated its policy so many Vets cannot even get a script for pain narcotics any longer. Especially Rv'ers who aren't always able to get back to the doctor. VA has been on a thirty-day renewal for several years.

Seems like this law/policy is based on enforcement and liability issues, not medical issues. Unfortunately!
