Duncan's Family Campground in Lothian is about your only choice in Maryland. The DC area doesn't have a lot of affordable campgrounds for long term stays. There are some around the Frederick and Hagarstown area, but the commute and the winter electric/propane bills would negate any 'rent' savings.
Alternatively, you could check into camp hosting at Greenbelt Park. They provide a site and full hookups for minimal work hours.
