- azjeffhExplorerHaven't found any RV parks in northern AZ that we would like to stay at. I would alternate between Fool Hollow Lake in Show Low and Big Lake near Alpine.
Many golf courses in Show Low and so much fishing at Big Lake. - gatorcqExplorerThe Rim is along 6000 to 7500 Ft elevation. And yes it rains in Az too.
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIThe only cool places in AZ during the summer are Flagstaff and Payson to Greer along that highway. Payson will be warmer than Greer which can be downright freezing at times. :)
- Me_AgainExplorer IIIVoyager RV at Juniper Ridge.

You know that it gets god awful hot in AZ . . . and then it gets god awful hot and humid when the monsoons come.
Look for campgrounds at higher elevations. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIVenture In or Juniper Ridge in Show Low, AZ
- gatorcqExplorerHeber - Overgard area. Do a search.
State park near Show Low.
Dry Camping just about anywhere along the Rim (what we are doing this year).
Happy Jack, South of Flagstaff.
Munds Park
However the best is let your fingers do a search on the Web or in Google Maps.
