We are in the same situation. Our house is under contract, due to close tomorrow, and we have to be out on the 22nd of this month. We've spent the last 3 weeks throwing away, giving away, selling and donating 39.5 years of accumulated "junk".
We've ordered a new Itasca from a dealer just next to the Winnebago factory. It is expected to take 8-10 weeks to build, so we're living in our 21 foot class C for about 6 weeks.
I'm excited about being "homeless" and even more excited about being a full-timer. One more week!
I've been involved in a private deal for the last few months and it's been going nowhere. Checked out the market yesterday and a neighbor with a similar residence just went into contract for a price that is almost double what I was trying to sell my space at!! Going to defer my dream and see how the R/E market play out. Can't hurt and gives me more time to make an RV and TV choice. - amandasgrammaExplorerOH....isn't that the truth!!! SOLD.....LOVE that 4 letter word!!!!!!

You won'nt be "homeless." Just "houseless"
As the story goes: A reporter was interviewing a child that had just lost everything in a house fire. The reporter said: “How does it feel not having a home?” The child responded: “We still have a home. We just don’t have a place to put it.” So young and yet so wise.
Welcome to true freedom!!! - JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerCongratulations amandagrandmma and Ray and June. Hope the road treats you all well and you have wonderful and safe journeys. We snowbird and travel quite a bit but just can't give up that spot to call home.
