Our startup costs for full timing

We've been in the RV full time for a bit over a month now and retirement is tomorrow. As we prepared to go full time I kept pretty good records and I've now shared them in our Here and There Blog. I think it might be helpful to anyone contemplating the move. You'll find it here.

  • Thank you for posting this information. Although we are stillupwards of5 years away, its interesting to get ideas of expenses involved. Forgive me if you addressed this previously, but can you give an idea of how often you moved and the miles involved?

Are you happy with the new shower head? Been looking at them trying to decide if worth the expence

We really like the Oxygenics. It gives you a refreshing water flow without, according to everyone who is supposed to know, using so much water. Our camper has a holder with three positions and, frankly, none of them are optimal for the shower head. It ends up aimed too far out into the shower stall so it can feel like it's shooting into your face. There's a balance point that, apparently, I'm better at than is my wife. I can put it up so it's not 100% into the holder but it is staying just fine. She can't seem to find it. Maybe I need to give her shower head holder lessons!

Anyway, Oxygenics does sell a holder. If you get one, you probably will want to get the holder too.

I don't care about budgets (LOL), but do enjoy seeing RV upgrades. What kind of flooring is that in your bathroom?????

Believe it or not it's a fairly high grade padded Linoleum. Looks good doesn't it!
