Parker,Az area

I thought the rates in Cal would be quite high. La Paz county is reasonable.

Try Rio Del Sol RV park 7 miles South West of Parker in Big River Cal.Some of the folks have been coming here every winter for close to 30 years so they must be doing something right.

I just spent a month at La Paz County Park about 9 miles north of Parker. My site was on the river, water & electric. If you go, be sure to check out the Desert Bar on a weekend.

Not to hijack his thread but when do the crowds start leaving the LHC area. We plan on coming May of 2015 and am wondering of the need for reservations.

i spent several years south of parker, west of salome and hope...
do you have anything in particular you need info about... parks, dry camping, medical services... ????

We have been here since Nov. 2013 and will be heading back to Canada in late March. We are at the Big River RV park in Earp, California which is just west of Parker, just over the bridge. We are right beside the Colorado River. Did you have any specific questions about the area? The main complaint that we have is that it is pretty darn hot - the sun really hurts and is quite distracting :B
