We can leave our dog in the coach for at least 8 hours if necessary. We just make sure she gets a long walk before we go and has fresh water. When we know we'll be gone for several hours, we usually leave a cell number with a neighbor and ask them to call us if there's any problems. Our dog is used to it though, since she's lived in RV's with us for most of her 15 year life. At her age, mostly she just sleeps even when we're there. I have seen some RV parks that offer dog walking services though, and the staff may also know of a local kennel or vet that offers "doggie day care" for their guests.
