No, it doesn't cover Medical Insurance. Not even for the supplemental insurance Hubby has to supplement Medicare.
Hubby has Mutual of Omaha. Our residency is in SD. We have been full time and in the NW for the last 9 years. All of his medical has been with doctors in WA, OR, and CA. He's never seen a doctor or filed a claim within the state of SD.
they've been good for him but his premium has gone from ok to OMG. We are having a tough time finding another carrier. We can't even change plans within Mutual of Omaha now. We are stuck can't find anything that will give us reliable insurance coverage, that does not require we be in SD for at least part of the year.(and my nephew is an insurance agent in ND).
Looks to us like we will become either WA or OR residents sometime in the next three years... we can't take more increases.
