Mail forwarding service.
Once you decide which service you want use,you pay them an annual fee,and keep a mailing account funded, they will let you know if/when the account gets low.We keep $50 or so in that account.
Different services have different plans. With ours (My Dakota Address),we get an email letting us know, whenever something arrives there and who it is from.We then decide when we want/need the mail that they are holding.Usually,we have them send it every couple of months
When we decide to have it sent to us,we call or email them, they send it via USPS Priorty mail. That is what the funded account money is for.
It has worked well for us these past 8 years.
And,yes, you DO need some type of mail fowarding for the IRS etc.Your fowarding sevice supplies you with a legal address. (I's really not as complicated as it may seem.
If you decide to make the leap to fulltiming,we hope to see ya "on the road".
You will probably have more questions, don't hesitate to ask them here. There is a wealth of knowledge available from people that know the answers and are more tha willing to share..
