Question of Legal residence in Texas.

We use our daughter's home in Texas as our legal residence. She also sends us our mail. Is there any legal information that we could show our son in law who questions the legality of using their address as our legal residence since we do not live there. We are full time RV'ers and Texas resident's. We do not own any property in Texas, but we now have our bank, Driver's license, vehicles etc. in Texas. We did park at their home for six weeks while becoming Texas residents. We also spend 4 or 5 months each year volunteering in Texas. I know Escapee's Club gives a street address as a legal residence. Do you have to live at your legal residence for any period of time?

    Unfortunately no, that is not the case. In Florida you must reside at the address you give. They are several ways to circumvent proving that, but the law is still very clear. You must reside at the address.

    It's not Florida at blame, they are simply complying with the patriot act without wavering. Blame congress for writing a law without considering all of it's ramifications.
