Good advice from DutchmenSport. Just want to add to make sure your health insurance is taken care of. (Who knows what that issue will be like in 10+ years from now!)
We are most-of-the-timers. I'm telling you, we NEVER think about our house when we are away in the motorhome! When RVing, we often say to each other, let's just continue full-time, we love it so much. But when we go spend some short periods of time at our house, it is sooo nice. So we've been torn on the issue for years into our retirement. But still we keep our paid-off house.
We tend to be on the move in the summer, and stay put for a few months at an RV park in the winter. Plenty of RV parks allow monthly and multi-month stays, especially in snowbirding areas. We moved around alot more sightseeing the first several years after retirement when we started spending so much time in the RV. Now we've slowed down some.
