Well..maybe...Once again today while perusing an RV Park Review (you know where) I came upon the statement praising the park for not allowing fulltimers "with all their junk and noise."
As I've been plotting our travels for the summer I've often read reviews denigrating the park for having fulltime/longtime campers, apparently as opposed to casual daily campers, and equating them to the Squatleys etc.Where do they get off???
First of all the reviewer needs a lesson on WHAT the term Full-Time RV'er is. :R
What they ARE talking about is RESIDENT campers. Many parks allow resident campers. That is where you usually get the junk, noise and drunken brawls on weekends.
I am a Full Time RV'er. Trust me when we pull into a CG whether it be for just the night or a few days you don't even know we are there.
After being on the road and pulling in for the night I have experienced what a CG with resident campers 'can' be like. I now, if I do call ahead, ask if they have 'resident' campers. I don't stay at CG's with resident campers if I can avoid it.
I suggest you change your heading, "Rant about fulltimers",for this thread about resident campers. :W
