There is a very distinct difference (as others have noted) between being a full time RV'er and being a full time resident in a park. And as was also pointed out, some of those full time residents can be very good people to offer a helping hand.
In this area (northern Colorado), housing prices are insanely ridiculous. In Boulder the median house price is over $800K. In Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Johnstown, the median price is over $350K and approaching $400K. Greeley is the cheapest at just under $300K. Average rent for a 2 bedroom apartment is over $1400 in most of these towns, with Greeley again being the cheapest at around $1100 or so. Some folks simply cannot afford to rent/buy, but they are able to live in an RV at one of the long-term parks in the area. A fact of life in an expensive area to live.
