Renewing a US Passport

Go to your Post Office. That is the best place to get this info. Sometimes they even have a special section of the facility dedicated for this government service.

If you have their phone number,give them a call first. They will tell you what you need to have before you show up. They usually require two latest photos and your expired passport if available.

The last time I had mine renewed it cost me around 75.00 USD. It's good for ten years. You pay extra if you need a faster processing say one or two weeks.

Depending on where you live it might take about 30 days to arrive.

Exactly, we did ours that way, and they were back in a month.
