We chose FL because we happened to be there working at the time. I kept my GA DL because when I went to get my DL, their computers went down. Never bothered to go back.
If I could turn back the clock, we would have chosen SD and saved thousands in sales taxes (3% vs 6%). We're on our 3rd 5er and 3rd dually, for reasons beyond our control.
But FL is working fine and we don't have plans to change, now that we're on our last RV & last dually and getting closer to retirement.
