To renew your South Dakota driver license online, you must have:
A federally compliant SD driver’s license.
Had a vision test within the last 6 months.
Proof of your South Dakota residency on file with the SD DMV (no older than 1 year). - Why would we not want to visit our beautiful state at least every 5 years?

We have been there every year since becoming residents in 2002- Just maybe not this time of year ...
