The time would vary for each park. They all have their separate rules.
Yes, there are ways to cool, but there are power surges and numerous things that could happen while you are gone. A lot of people do it ( leave their animals ) I personally would not. I loved my dog too much ( and no I am not implying that others don't ), so I wouldn't take a chance.
I'm sure you will have others tell you they do it all the time.
