Thanks for the heads up about winterizing. What are some ways I can guarantee my rig stays cool for my pets? If something were to happen to the electricity at the site, is there a way to kick it onto generator power automatically?
I'm not concerned about living in a confined space with my partner. I could see why people would be worried about "getting sick" of one another or tripping over one another if they go on extended vacation together (which we've done, too), but we are going to working full time and apart from each other the majority of the time. We're both small people that have lived in small places and don't require a lot of room. We've never had a "barn, garage, sewing room, or mancave" before. Our biggest adjustment is going to be how little stuff we bring, creative storage solutions, and how to adjust our housekeeping habits - which we've talked about extensively - but I'm not worried about us getting sick of each other.
TechWriter - I do own a house. I also have a Good Sam membership - does that include towing?
I say "nice" based on low mileage, when they say things were last maintained, if they were stored indoors, if they generally looked like they were kept up nice.
I am also not just looking locally. I am looking everywhere between St. Louis and Kansas City, and west of KC in Kansas as well.
I don't need to buy "right now." I'm trying to do research.
I don't know how I'm getting mail on the road. That is on my checklist of things to look into.
We are actually now looking into a TT. I forgot that my dad has a cargo van that's not getting much use these days. I'm going to check out the towing capcity on that and go from there.
