Does it have a low setting with adjustable fan running non-stop?
One feature that makes Summers hard to sleep for me is the heat rises into our bedroom. The AC can be noisy, but I'd rather be cool than sweating and thrashing all night.
I'm a Princess and Pea, too. We bought a Denver mattress (Durango) 2 years ago, added a visco foam topper last year, 600ct sheets and still occasionally I can't get comfortable. This Winter in GA & NC, I've still needed the table fan running on low most nights. DH is like a heater, so sometimes sleep better after he's left in the morning.
We're buying a Cool Gel foam topper to see if that helps prevent heat buildup under the sheets. It's a little firmer and hope it helps support my back. We have one in our guest room with an older pillowtop mattress and box springs and I don't wake up quite as stiff.
