Sleeping problems in Travel Trailer

The ac in the ceiling has nobs for low fan, high fan, low ac, and high ac. There is a dial for the temperature which I guess is technically a thermostat, I was thinking of the kind with temps on it. Is it bad to run the ac all the time? We were turning it off at night to try and give it a break though that may not be a choice as it will be getting hotter soon. The mattress is on a platform and this evening I will be lifting the mattress to see if the platform is level. The pass-through storage is open to the under the bed storage so there is no support going across the bed anywhere except a thin piece of wood to attach the two pieces of plywood together. Although I only joined today, we did much research before our purchase and ultimately, it was the floor plan that won us over with this one. Out here, the bunkhouses go super fast because of the drilling in South Texas. Thanks so much for the feedback!
