Yes, you can run your air conditioner all the time. In fact, that's the best way to regulate your whole RV in hot weather. By turning it off everything has to cool down again when you turn it back on. Mattress: treat yourself to a good one. When you're in the RV every day you need it. Most mfg. put in cheap ones that have no support. Good luck! It'll get better. :)
