The shop doesn't allow people to stay in rigs on-site. They say it is an insurance issue.
We could have had it towed to an RV park after the shop determined the needed repairs - stay in the rig - then have it towed back for the actual work (both tows on a lowboy flatbed at our expense). The closest RV park/ trailer park is about 18 miles from the shop. But to go to one which will allow us to stay without a planned departure date - 58 miles one way. Those which allow full-timers closer have all their monthly spots booked. The closet park does not allow long-term stays. They don't want to become a full-timer permanent residence CG.
Yes, I checked with Dexter, and their information matches what the shop told me exactly.
