The axles arrived from Dexter yesterday mid-day - July 20. They were installed, the rig road tested - and we picked up the TT at 2 pm today July 21.
I got a closeup look at the old axles. My father was a welder - he would have tanned my rearend if I ever did welds as sloppy as the ones on the original axles. One weld on both the front and rear axles was simply a very poor job. Likely was never actually attached. That allowed the axle to work against the other welds til they all broke on one side of the front axle.
