We have toured most of SD. The most beautiful part is the Western section. You can see Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, The Black Hills, The Bad Lands, and Custer State Park. Just outside Custer State Park you can see an original old sod house. Just outside Rapid City is Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy horse memorial. On the Eastern side you can visit Souix Falls and visit the falls. Like anywhere else, you can take as long as you want and always see something new. I would plan on a week to see the most beautiful parts of the state. That is my two cents and I pray you have a lot of safe fun.
