If you decide on SD, make sure that your camping/lodging receipt has both your names on it. SD also has Enhanced driver's license and they require lots of documentation. If your spouse has had different names, she has to show proof of each name change unless she has a current passport. Your selected mail forwarder will assist you with this. Best to be prepared with all the required documentation. We use mydakotaaddress and Terri provides awesome service. The business is located right across from the courthouse in Madison, SD and she will prepare all the documents you will need including voter registration for your domicile switch. And there is a state park (electric only) which is big rig friendly right outside of town. When we first established our domicile, we drove up and stayed in a hotel so you do not have to take your RV. Everything except obtaining driver's license can be taken care of without going to SD.
