I must admit I haven't done any research on this subject/question but I decided to throw it out there to get an answer. We are in our first year of full timeing and South Dakota is our residence. SD does not have state income tax so it appears one does not have anything to file for income tax with SD. Is my thinking correct? Thanks for any input and thoughts.
WA state doesn't have income tax either. (Believe me, they get it other ways) Why would I need to tell the state I'm not paying income tax when they don't have one to begin with?
