You will be a snow bird that decided not to migrate back North!
I have seen a lot of Southern Natives flee Bend after a bad winter, especially in '93. That was a fun one. 80+ inches of snow fell that winter.
I retire in 35 days and we will be doing a one year full time starting in May. Starting in Washington/Oregon and going to Florida and return. If we enjoy the experience, we will do another year.
When we return, Bend will be our home. (and yes, 4x4 vehicle will be in the garage!)
