There is a saying; “own no possessions that none may own you.” What we own owns us, because we have to give what we own our time, attention, and our money. Downsizing my life simplified my life and made it more manageable.
Yes, there was a transition period becoming a fulltime RV’er, and that transition was primarily about my own self confidence; feeling that I could comfortable live without all of the things I left behind. And I am healthier because of it.
Learning about yourself is lifelong and living in a mobile residence, being continuously presented with majestic landscapes far removed from the mainstream, is less about having courage than it is gaining some sanity.
