Texas domicile info
What if you are on medicare and need additional health insurance ? also any other issues we need to be aware of,Thanks We are moving to Texas from Va. and to full timing.

On health insurance, if you are already on MediScare and have supplemental that you are happy with, there is a good chance you can keep it in Texas. Unless you have a specific reason for Texas you may want to look at Fl and SD as they are both popular for having no state tax and may have better deals on some insurances. I priced my truck insurance and found SD cheaper and no state vehicle inspection so no need to return annually for re-inspections too enticing. Texas does have a letter you can request to cover inspections while you are out of state.
