I have tracked my van-dwelling expenses for one full year now . . .
In the spreadsheet I detail each month, quarter, and the total year-end expenses. I also track the average-cost-per-day for each item, which was quite startling at first, but became a fun challenge to try to keep my daily costs under $30 per day
While your lifestyle is interesting, it's not typical of most full timers, and I don't think your budget is close to what many or most full timers spend. So I don't think it's relevant to most full timers. (BTW, I find it interesting that your 4th highest expense is "gun related". What's up with that?)
First and foremost, you're a single person. Most full timers are couples and many of them have pets, so a van wouldn't work -- at least for long.
I know the answer: "What is stereotyping?"
And, actually a bare bones budget is very relevant since it can be used as a starting point to build upward to your level of income if you are in the lower end or where you believe that being frugal is a worthwhile virtue.
There are plenty of singles and plenty full timers without pets. In many cases, the pets are in their senior years and won't be replaced.
Several years ago I saw a family of 5 on the road with a truck camper and they camped on the beach. If I remember correctly, the father was a physician and the mother a nurse. They only worked when they needed to replenish their funds. It was a great story and the kids all grew up and went on to higher education after homeschooling.
