@ Techwriter - Of course the way *I* have done it may not be for everyone, nor have I said anything of the kind. It is just *one* way, and people can take from it what they want.
My "gun related" expenses (actually my 8th largest expense, not 4th largest) are basically ammo and shooting supplies (holsters, targets, range fees, etc). Since I am a conceal-carry permit holder, and I do carry a handgun on my belt 24/7/365, it is my responsibility to be *very* practiced with that tool. So, I take it seriously and ensure that I practice regularly, which costs money (about $60 per month). I probably should have left it out of the whole scheme... but I didn't {shrug}
