Read the fine print of your Advantage plan to see what is covered and for how long if you have an emergency.
It's recommended for full-timers who travel to use original Medicare then you can use it for anything - country-wide. You could be thousands of miles away from your hometown and have what is considered a non-emergency event but still need a doctor. I'm sure you wouldn't be driving back to wherever to get it taken care of when a simple visit where you're traveling could be all you need.
