Take the Mini with you. You will love the flexibility of running around with it instead of the truck. My wife and I have been taking a second vehicle with us for the last 8 years. When it's lunch time on the road, we park the rig where its convenient, she picks me up, and off we go to wherever we want. I think we talk on the CBs more than when we are both in the same vehicle. Another plus is you have a set of eyes following you and keeping an eye on the trailer/truck for any problems, i.e. tires, etc.
