DH will retire 2nd week in Jan. 2019 & we plan to fulltime as soon as we can after his last day of work. Question in what order do we do everything? Selling the house, do we put it up before he retire...

I changed mine ( SS) Right after also. No checks sent, auto deposit the payment and have everything possible sent to email not mailed. set all that up asap. address forwarding can catch almost anything else. Nowdays almost everything can be auto handled (deposits and credit Payments)with instant text or email notifications in real time allowing you to follow up. your mailing address should be almost secondary.
