We have reservations for an open house at a 55+ Apartment Complex next week. Have looked into "retirement/assistant living" and found the monthly rate is $3K .. I told hubby that as long as I can make a grocery list, go to the market and cook the food, that we should NOT even consider assistance place.
Yes, we will either rent an apartment or get a loan on a larger RV and have it parked it in an RV Park nearby. Or buy a larger RV already parked in either an RV Park or mobile home park.
Hubby gave up his CDL last month, but is still very capable of towing our relatively small travel trailer. He had no intention of going back to driving where a CDL was required, so gave it up.
Thank you all for the postings ... I think we need to write up a MEMO with our future plans, and dreams all written out, and our expectations when traveling around the country is no longer feasible.
