Our home base is TriCities, Washington. And talking with our adult daughter today and she thinks we should settle down and get an apartment or go into a "senior apartment" .. we are fine, no medical ...

For what my opinion is worth (exactly nothing) did you or could you ask her exactly what her concern is? From your post nothing indicates that you guys need to settle down yet:) I'd say keep on RV'ing until YOU know its time to hang up the keys.
