I have friends - she is about 93 and he is about 87 - who are still FT RVing in that rolling tank of theirs (a mid 1990s London Aire). He has had several heart attacks and can still rachet the tire straps on the tow dolly.
I would bet that it is the RVing lifestyle that is keeping them alive. For some people - the day they stop doing what they love is the day that they start to die.
My parents told their 4 kids back in the 1970s that they are going to spend every last dime - see the world, go to golf resorts, etc - leaving just enough to pay for the funeral. That's exactly what they did. Do what you want, while you can, while you're in good health. To heck with the kids.
