One thing to think about, how well do you handle stressful situations? My dad hasn't handled them well for several situations and my mom doesn't do as well now as she used to.
A year and a half ago, my mom wanted to visit her family (cousins) that are 800+ miles away. They had small class C with Toad, but Dad wouldn't go unless I went to help. At that time Dad was 87 and Mom was 75, and I am in 50's. It is a good thing I went, since Dad got sick, had to make a trip to emergency room, and spent several days in hospital. Mom was upset and not thinking how to call Ambulance, she didn't think about that from cell phone 911 is the same wherever you are.
The following spring, I met them in state park slightly over an hour from home. Mom drove the MH and I brought my TT. On the 3rd night, Dad got sick and I ended up driving the MH back to their town to emergency room (closest hospital). Mom was worrying about Dad and I did all the unhooking from water, electric, and getting us out of there and to the hospital.
After that Dad refused to go, and so they decided to sell out, rather than letting MH just sit. I am not sure that MOM would be safe in much more than a class B now. However, she understands my desire to roam. I guess I may have a permanent house guest when I hit the road fulltime.
