We're living longer than previous generations. We need to set the example on how to enjoy those extra years. Part of that is knowing when to move on.
Yesterday on my DW's 56th birthday she confided in me she would stop driving. She is blind. I admire her courage.
Decisions like that are all personal and individualized. Not based on a number. Demonstrate you're capable of making your own decisions. Start something new. My goal is to learn to communicate on Facebook. I'm 66 and am the oldest in a family of 30 something. I have a responsibility to all of them to show them a promising future.
